For the Christmas holiday our Human Trafficking and Women’s Reentry Departments collaborated and hosted a Women’s Empowerment Pancake Brunch. Women gave testimonials and spoke about their triumphs of surviving human trafficking and overcoming the struggles of returning home from prison.
Donations and proceeds collected at the brunch allowed for these two departments to make 150 purses filled with hygiene products and donate clothes to women that lived in shelters and transitional housing.
